Its been about a week since I came back from SuperCamp. Only 2 words can describe this camp: ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! I made tons of new friends. The facilitators & team leaders were fun and awesome. I would say that I got one of the best pair of team leaders ever. One was funny & the other one was kind which mixes into the team leader pair of awesomeness. We had talks on Quantum Reading, Writing & strategies. The facs were making the whole thing which seemed like a boring lecture into a awesome pack of humor. We were also put into teams & I was put in team blue. I was supposed to be put in the junior forum but ended up in the senior forum. So I was kinda the odd one out :D, feels good to be the youngest again. At the end of camp I took a peek at the list and somehow I was put as 13 years old, and i'm not. Must've been the doings of my mum, hmm... So anyway, We stayed in a Band Wagon. It was a two-storey but it was infested with cockroaches and cobwebs, well the upstairs mostly. I had two roommates & they both slept on the bed. Poor me had to sleep on the mattress :( lol. Reason: When we got into the room, i saw the second floor and shouted: DIBS ON THE TOP FLOOR!! once i got up there did I only see the insects and there were only two beds on the first floor and the others put a dib on 'em so boohoo for me :p somewhere too far for us to find. |
